Children’s Menu:


Children (under 12) can have either smaller portions of the normal Menu or can choose from this Children’s Menu


Starters

Chefs freshly made soup of the day
Melon boat with oranges, & fruit sorbet
Prawn cocktail with iceberg lettuce, classic Marie Rose sauce and buttered brown bread soldiers
Cheese on toast – mild Cheddar cheese on toasted brioche


Main Courses

Spaghetti Bolognese – made with grass fed beef, carrots, onions and tomatoes with home made pasta and Parmesan cheese
Toad in the hole – two Highfield House Farm pork sausages baked in a Yorkshire pudding with gravy and peas
Fish and chips – mini Icelandic cod fillets fried in beer batter with thick cut chips, peas and sauce rouge
The East Lodge pizza – organic bread base topped with plum tomato sauce, cheese and spinach
Derbyshire cottage pie topped with mashed potatoes and served with green vegetables and a jug of gravy


Desserts

Ice cream and fruit sundae with whipped cream and crushed nuts
Chocolate mousse with bananas and vanilla ice cream
Fresh fruit salad
Selection of ice cream
