Christmas Eve: Wednesday 24th December 2008
You will be welcomed to East Lodge with warmth and courtesy as we commence the festive celebrations. Afternoon tea will be served in the Garden Room Bar. From 7.00pm, we invite you to join us for an informal cocktail reception with canapés in the Garden Room and meet some of your fellow guests. Time then to start unwinding as your Christmas break starts with a 5-course dinner in our Terrace Room restaurant
Christmas Day: Thursday 25th December 2008
On Christmas morning, breakfast will be available from 8am in the Terrace Room restaurant. The morning service is available at our village church or alternatively you may like to wander around the 10 acres of picturesque Derbyshire countryside surrounding the hotel.
From noon, we will be serving Winter Pimms in the bar before our traditional and mouth-wateringly delicious 6-course lunch. Please let us know your preferred time for lunch; last orders are at 2:00pm
From 7.30 pm, we will be serving our sumptuous evening buffet in the restaurant with a selection of house wines.
Boxing Day: Friday 26th December 2008
Full English or continental breakfast will be available for you from 8.00 a.m.
Following a leisurely breakfast the day is yours to explore the delights of the local area. There are many scenic drives in the Peak National Park or perhaps a walk in the nearby parkland of Chatsworth. There is a raft race in Matlock and the usual activities in the attractive market town of Bakewell.
Or you may care to take a trip to the delightful spa town of Buxton: just 20 minutes drive.
A 5-course lunch is available at £35.00 per person. Please let us know if you will require a reservation for lunch.
Join us for mulled wine in the evening, followed by a 4 course Boxing Day dinner from 7:00pm

After our traditional full English breakfast (served from 8.00 until 9.30am) it is time to bid adieu and fond farewell. That is unless you wish to take advantage of our very special extra day rates
