Customer service has a silver lining

It’s official: the level of customer service you can expect to receive at East Lodge in Rowsley, Derbyshire, is among the best in the country as the award winning hotel scooped the coveted Silver Award at the national finals of the Enjoy England Awards 2011.

East Lodge hotel collect their Silver Award for Outstanding Customer Service: (Left to Right) Lady Penelope Cobham, chairman of Visit England, Iain Hardman, managing director of East Lodge, Carly Hardman and Sandi Toksvig.

Commenting on East Lodge’s latest accolade, managing director Iain Hardman, said: “We have always known our staff are brilliant, but for it to be formally and nationally recognised in this way against such impressive competition from around the country is a truly remarkable achievement.”
