Wedding Breakfast Evening Buffets

The finger buffet is included in Gold & Platinum packages: Other buffets are available as shown with the appropriate upgrade charge.

The East Lodge Wedding Finger Buffet (Only served in the evening of a wedding)

Selection of open and closed sandwiched to include – 
Rare roasted beef with horseradish and watercress Home smoked ham and pickle
Free - range egg mayonnaise with cress Mini croque monsieur
Platters of award winning pork pies, homemade Scotch eggs and sausage rolls 
Stone baked pizzas with various toppings, chilli oil and rosemary salt
Bowls of charred chicken drumsticks with deep fried potato wedges, avocado salsa and cracked pepper crème fraiche
The East Lodge “fish ’n chips”- beer battered Icelandic cod and crushed potatoes, deep fried on skewers with sauce tartare and mushy peas
Tempura of summer vegetables with smoked tomato and red onion dipping sauce
Marinated seafood salad with parsley, lemon zests and garlic and served with slices of warm home baked un-leavened flat bread
Trays of mixed chicken, tiger prawn, salmon and beef brochettes and skewers with internationally flavoured dipping sauces and relishes

Mini Pavlovas with thick Derbyshire cream and seasonal fruits

The Rowsley Hog Roast (Upgrade £500.00)

A whole spit roasted locally reared pig carved to order by our team of Chefs and served with bowls of the following –
Rosemary and sea salt roasted potatoes
Sage and onion stuffing with jugs of cider gravy
Minted crushed garden peas with caramelised shallots
Steamed new potatoes with parsley butter
Bowls of fresh seasonal salads and crudités – celeriac remoulade, cucumber and mint, beetroot and horseradish, carrot and tarragon and tomato and basil
Soft floury baps with apple sauce, sweet onion relish, English mustard butter and barbeque sauce
Mushroom, rocket and Parmesan risotto with peas and broad beans

Selection of mini lemon posset, Eton Mess and dark chocolate trifle


Garden BBQ (upgrade price £500.00)

Cooked over charcoal and served under the stars from our terrace barbeque it includes a selection of mouth watering treats – 

Homemade East Lodge hamburgers
Hot dogs with caramelised onions
Marinated Highfield House Farm minute steaks
Butterflied legs of Derbyshire new season lamb with Italian seasonings
Whole spatchcocked free range chicken with a spicy chilli and garlic rub
Tiger prawn, monkfish and courgette kebabs with lemon and thyme
Marinated vegetable kebabs with confit tomato and extra virgin olive oil
Bowls of duck fat roasted potatoes seasoned with smoked salt
Bowls of minted new potatoes
Four classic salads – 
Caesar made with cos lettuce, Parmesan and croutons
Crisp maple cured bacon, avocado and tomato with little gems
Chilled basmati rice with shrimps and watercress

Selection of seven fine handmade Great British cheeses supplied by Neal’s Yard Dairy
Award winning Derbyshire pork pies, sausage rolls and Scotch eggs
Whole honey baked hams made from traditionally reared local pork and hand carved by our chefs
Various breads baked by our in house bakery, thin homemade cheese biscuits and oatcakes
East Lodge garden chutneys, quince jelly, grapes and celery
