Mothering Sunday Lunch – Sunday 15th March 2015



Chef’s freshly made leek and potato soup with chopped chives (GF)
Warm black pudding and smoked bacon salad with HP vinaigrette and garlic croutons

Smoked salmon served with chopped onions, capers, brown bread and a lemon wedge (GF)

Classic cold water prawn cocktail with iceberg lettuce and Marie Rose sauce (GF)
Our own recipe Callow Hall smoked haddock fishcake with pea puree and aged balsamic (GF)

Duck liver parfait with apple chutney and toasted granary bread
Grilled goats cheese with olive caramel, beetroot puree and white truffle dressing (GF)
Duo of melons with seasonal berries and orange sorbet (GF)

Choose your traditional “Sunday Roast” from:

Roast sirloin of prime aged Derbyshire beef (GF)

Roast loin of locally reared pork (GF)

Roast breast of Barlow turkey(GF)

All roast dishes are served with roast potatoes, homemade Yorkshire puddings and side dishes of mixed seasonal vegetables, and plenty of real gravy. (Gluten free gravy is available)
Breast of free range chicken, pancetta, caramelised onions, Chateau potatoes & red wine jus (GF)
Braised shank of lamb with champ potatoes, pancetta wrapped beans and Port wine sauce (GF)
Seared fillet of sea bass with saute potatoes, chorizo, garden peas and saffron cream sauce (GF)
Shallot tart tatin with creamed wild mushrooms and truffle mash


Warm chocolate brownie with salted caramel, chocolate mousse and Chantilly cream Bakewell creme brulee with homemade shortbread (GF)
Crepes Suzette with vanilla ice cream
Sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce and vanilla ice cream
