East Lodge home smoked salmon pâté with a chopped egg, red onion & baby caper garnish & toasted granary bread
BEEF
Carpaccio of aged beef fillet, garnished with crispy pigs ear, black pudding, Jerusalem artichoke & grated pork crackling salad
ASPARAGUS
Salad of marinated Jersey Royals, asparagus & a soft boiled East Lodge free range egg, with herb mayonnaise & watercress
PARFAIT
Chicken & duck liver parfait with Madeira jelly, tea soaked prunes & warm sautéed livers on toast
PRAWN
Prawn cocktail made with Icelandic cold–water prawns, iceberg lettuce & a classic Marie Rose sauce
MAIN COURSE
BEEF
Roast sirloin of prime aged beef from Highfield House Farm, Yorkshire pudding, roasted potatoes & red wine gravy
PORK
Saddle of Derbyshire reared pork, slowly roasted with sage & garlic, roast potatoes & apple sauce
HALIBUT
Fillet of halibut with warm potted shrimps, caper & cucumber croûte, creamed potatoes & tarragon infused poultry juice
LAMB
Leg of locally sourced Suffolk Down lamb, roasted with thyme & parsley, served with roasted potatoes, pan gravy & mint sauce
BRILL
Grilled fillet of Cornish brill with homemade tartare sauce, steamed Jersey Royals & seasonal greens
RISOTTO
Risotto of Penny Bun mushrooms with slow roasted garlic, flat leaf parsley, Parmesan cheese and wild rocket
DESSERT
SYRUP SPONGE
Steamed golden syrup sponge with vanilla custard or ice cream (or both!!)
CHOCOLATE
Dark chocolate mousse with light coffee cream. praline & hazelnut tuiles

Homemade Bakewell tart served with custard & Bakewell pudding ice cream
