It’s lights, camera and action as multi award-winning Peak District hotel and restaurant East Lodge launches its all new Exclusively Yours wedding DVD.
Designed to show couples considering a wedding at East Lodge everything the hotel has to offer, the DVD project has been developed in conjunction with The Edit, a national video production company specialising in promotional videos and prime-time television post production.
“We believe that people who are looking for the best wedding venue expect more than just a paper brochure,” says East Lodge director Iain Hardman. “For most couples, their wedding is a landmark, unique and seminal event that cannot be skimped on; our new wedding DVD allows couples to see in glorious detail fantastic imagery of the facilities, location and food East Lodge has to offer, enabling people to get a feel for the hotel, our extremely high standards of service and to make a more informed choice as a result.”
All weddings at East Lodge are tailor-made to meet each individual couple’s requirements, but while brochures will always have their place in this process, ‘seeing is believing’ and the new wedding DVD allows interested parties to better appreciate the difference between a ‘standard’ wedding venue and one of the finest hotels and wedding venues in the land.
“With a DVD like this, there is no hiding place if your venue isn’t up to scratch, so it demonstrates how much confidence we have in East Lodge to go ahead with the project, “added Iain. ”I didn’t think it was possible to make East Lodge look any better than it already appears in our standard marketing literature – however I have to admit that the DVD has made me think again. While nothing can replace seeing the hotel in person for yourself, the DVD does provide the best possible introduction to our services and literally brings East Lodge to life for the viewer. It was essential the DVD was professional, polished and perfect and The Edit have done a first class job in meeting those requirements.”
The Edit produce, film, edit, colour grade and audio mix every project they take on, giving clients like East Lodge an all inclusive start to finish service. Their recent post production credits include “Blood Sweat and Luxuries” for BBC3 and “Cowboy Builders” for Five.
“Our strengths lie in listening to our clients’ needs and applying our broad creative talents to each project and as with East Lodge hotel, to bring it to life,” said The Edit’s Dave Austin. “As well as East Lodge country house hotel, our growing video production portfolio includes everything from the National and Organic Expo at Kensington Olympia to leading hypnotherapist and mentalist Anthony Jacquin’s latest training video.”
