The Indigo Chef's Table Tasting Menu is normally available for Friday, and Saturday evenings. Can also be booked for traditional Sunday Lunch.
Our Head Chef, and the East Lodge team have worked hard to ensure that the atmosphere is not ‘painted on the walls’ with this Chef’s Table, but experienced ‘live’, putting guests at an inner ‘secret’ table, at the heart of the restaurant’s action.
The Chef’s Table is a real highlight, where people can enjoy fine dining while watching the kitchen team at work.
The layout of the East Lodge kitchen has created one of the best kitchens the chefs have ever experienced including all the very latest specialist cooking equipment.
Central to the concept of the Chef’s Table are custom crafted "Tasting Menus", designed by the Head Chef himself exclusively for guests using the Chef’s Table.
The Tasting Menus aim to appeal to culinary connoisseurs who appreciate subtle differences between dishes and the impact fine wines can have on the palate when the two are combined for maximum gastronomic effect.

Arrive to Prosecco and canapés served in the Garden Room
East Lodge home-smoked salmon tartare, cucumbers, caviar and horseradish
Belly pork, cider jelly, apple and popcorn crackling
Pigeon, walnuts, pickled beetroot and freshly picked dandelion
Lemon sole, crab, fennel and an orange butter sauce
Pan fried Gressingham duck breast, fondant potatoes, sweet and sour cherries
Lemon parfait, passion fruit jelly and purée, lemon crème fraiche sorbet and crumb
Chocolate mousse, salt caramel ice cream, white chocolate, berry compote, cookie crumb
Selection of leaf teas or coffee served with home-made petit fours

The tasting menu is only available for the entire table. Vegetarian alternatives can also be made available, should a full vegetarian tasting menu be required please make prior arrangements.
